Job Description
• Create weekly & monthly social media plans.
• Research destinations, hotels, and travel trends.
• Coordinate directly with the full Baghdad team (sales, operations, ticketing, packages).
• Prepare clear briefs for designers, editors, and media buyers.
• Generate new ideas for posts, reels, and campaigns.
• Schedule and publish content on all platforms.
• Prepare ad copy and support media buyer with campaigns.
• Monitor performance and send weekly reports.
• Ensure consistency of branding and accuracy of information.
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of proven experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing, preferably within the travel or tourism industry.
- Expertise in developing and executing social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
- Strong understanding of travel trends, audience segmentation, and digital engagement tactics.
- Experience with social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to inform strategy.
- Proficiency in content management systems and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
- Ability to work independently and remotely, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Familiarity with paid social media advertising and campaign management.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
