Job Description
- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation of transactions.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to facilitate audits and resolve discrepancies.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Generate financial reports and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Stay current with accounting regulations and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
