Position Summary:

The Body and Paint Section Head is responsible for managing and supervising all body repair, denting, and painting operations to ensure high-quality workmanship, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role oversees technicians, controls workflow, and ensures compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the body and paint team, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Plan and manage daily workflow to ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Inspect vehicles before, during, and after repair to ensure quality standards are met.
• Diagnose body damage and determine appropriate repair and painting methods.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and paint materials.
• Enforce safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Coordinate with service advisors, insurance companies, and other departments as needed.
• Control costs, reduce waste, and monitor material consumption.
• Train and develop technicians to improve skills and productivity.
• Handle customer complaints related to body and paint work and ensure resolution.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in body repair and automotive painting.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good knowledge of modern repair techniques, paint systems, and color matching.
• Ability to read repair estimates and technical reports.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in automotive body repair or painting.
• 6+ years of experience in body and paint work, with supervisory experience preferred.
