Job Description
- Lead the architectural design and development process for real estate, commercial, and facility management projects from concept through execution.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of architectural solutions.
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, and specifications in compliance with local codes and company standards.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, ensure quality, and resolve design or construction issues.
- Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements, present design proposals, and incorporate feedback.
- Oversee the selection of materials, finishes, and construction techniques to optimize aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability.
- Review and approve architectural documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness for permitting and construction.
- Support value engineering initiatives to optimize project costs without compromising design integrity.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and professional development within the team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
- 4 to 7 years of proven experience in architectural design and development, preferably within real estate or commercial projects.
- Strong proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
- Experience in site supervision and construction administration.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, innovative solutions.
