Job Description

The Senior Sales Account Manager – Software & Hardware is responsible for driving strategic revenue growth through managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and delivering end-to-end sales solutions for software and hardware offerings. This role requires deep market knowledge, strong client relationship management, and the ability to lead complex sales cycles while ensuring long-term customer success and satisfaction.
 

Responsibilities 
 

1. Sales Strategy & Business Development

  • Drive new business acquisition within the software and hardware market through proactive prospecting and strategic networking.
  • Develop and execute account-based sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Lead complex sales cycles from opportunity identification to deal closure.
  • Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations, demonstrations, and commercial proposals to decision-makers and C-level stakeholders.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms in alignment with company policies while maximizing profitability.

 

2. Key Account Management

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key and strategic accounts.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by deeply understanding their business needs and challenges.
  • Maintain strong, long-term client relationships to drive renewals, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on client requests, escalations, and issue resolution.
  • Monitor account performance, contract renewals, and payment status to ensure healthy revenue flow.

 

3. Product Expertise & Market Intelligence

  • Maintain advanced knowledge of the company’s software and hardware solutions and how they address customer needs.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide structured feedback to management, product, and marketing teams to support continuous improvement and competitive positioning.

 

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with presales, technical, and delivery teams to design and deliver optimal solutions.
  • Coordinate with marketing on campaigns, lead generation, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Collaborate with finance and operations to ensure smooth order processing, invoicing, and delivery.
  • Support and mentor junior sales team members when needed by sharing best practices and market insights..
