Job Description
- Supervise and coordinate all electrical site activities related to wastewater and water treatment projects.
- Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment, including control panels, pumps, and instrumentation.
- Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and process engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain timelines and quality standards.
- Ensure all electrical work adheres to safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Prepare and maintain detailed site reports, documentation, and as-built drawings.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery and installation of electrical materials and equipment.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks to verify proper installation and functionality of electrical systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and site personnel as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in wastewater or water treatment projects.
- Proven experience in site supervision and coordination of electrical works.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, control panels, and instrumentation used in water treatment facilities.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in using MS Office and engineering software tools.
- Willingness to work on-site and adapt to project demands.
