The Role

We are seeking an experienced Manager Compliance based in Cairo who will lead and manage compliance initiatives in Egypt. The successful candidate will ensure effective implementation of compliance frameworks, training programs, whistleblowing investigations, and regulatory reporting in alignment with global standards.

The Key Responsibilities

Investigations & Whistleblowing: Conduct and manage compliance and whistleblowing investigations and reporting.
Training & Communication: Drive in-country compliance training and communication initiatives.
Declarations: Oversee conflict of interest, gifts, hospitality, and political activity declarations.
Reporting: Compile compliance reports for committees and external reporting.
Third Party Due Diligence: Manage vetting and monitoring of agents, intermediaries, and partners.
Books & Records: Support review of payments to government officials.
Audits & Assurance: Participate in Combined Assurance Audits.
Advisory: Provide guidance on compliance and ethics matters.

The Requirements

Diploma or Degree in a relevant field.
Minimum 5 years of compliance experience
Experience in designing and implementing compliance programmes
Experience with US FCPA or UK Bribery Act advantageous.
Strong skills in investigations, reporting, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
Fluency in English and Arabic.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Experience in Mining or Oil & Gas would be highly advantageous
Must have the right to work in South Africa
