• Perform daily payroll department operations.
• Monitor and execute attendance, leaves, overtime, and deductions processing and interface with payroll.
• Understand and process proper social insurance and taxation of employer paid benefits.
• Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
• Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.
• Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors
• Research, analyze, and resolve all discrepancies, reporting to management as needed
• Process accurate and periodic reporting and when necessary
• Participate in end-of-month closing and audits
• Prepare reports for upper management, finance department etc.
• 2- 3 years of proven experience as a payroll specialist.
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices.
• Very good knowledge of taxation, social insurance and Egyptian labor law.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Very good in English
• Excellent communication skills
• Has a bachelor degree.
