Purchasing specialist
• Implementing the requirements and requisition plan
• Daily purchasing tasks (Releasing RFQ, collecting quotations, evaluating offers, negotiation, releasing
orders, following-up on released orders & following-up on vendor payments)
• Negotiating received quotations to ensure best terms for each order (Price/Payment term/Inco term)
• Process entire purchasing cycle in ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics Navision)
• Ensure accuracy of shipping documents in alignment with Logistics team (Import/Local)
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery
• Supplier Evaluation and sharing recommendations with Material Planning team
• Research and develop new suppliers
• Prepare reports for procurement department MIS (Monthly, Quarterly & Annually)
• Establishing constant communication channels with suppliers to stay online with market changes and new
trends
