GENERAL DESCRIPTION | ||||||
The job of a Senior Accountant involves in dealing with important financial transactions of AlMashariq. He is responsible for ensuring accuracy in general ledger processing, reconcile accounts, processing a weekly payroll, managing cash, preparing Zakat-related documents, and actively participating in budgeting and forecasting activities. He is also responsible for supervising and guiding junior accountants within the department and reviewing their work, responding to the department managers inquiries. | ||||||
Key Responsibilities | ||||||
Produce Monthly Reports: Work In Progress Schedules, Produce Monthly Financials (AR, AP, Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow) | ||||||
Initiates consistent reviews on data entries related to Payables, Bank and Assets. | ||||||
Directing and implementing preparations of monthly expenses and revenue reports and providing input to the financial goal setting. | ||||||
Responding to any inquiry from the suppliers and creditors related to their payment settlement. | ||||||
Supervising and assisting accountant staffs with important tasks and reviewing their performance. Arranging for the training of new accounts staff in the department. | ||||||
Reviewing and recommending new and modifications of accounting systems or procedures. | ||||||
Assisting the preparations of annual audits and financial reports. | ||||||
Reviewing accounting documents to ensure accuracy of calculations and information among others. Ensures that all required information is received in order to complete various reports. | ||||||
Perform internal audits and manage all the accounts payable, payroll distribution, fixed assets, and cash deposits. | ||||||
Ensure timely payment of the companys liabilities as per the agreement. In case of delay for what so ever be the reason, bring to the notice of the Finance Manager. | ||||||
