- Assist the Procurement Manager in developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies to optimize procurement processes and achieve cost savings.
- Support the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier identification, evaluation, negotiation, and contracting.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement requirements, provide guidance on procurement best practices, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and maintain a supplier database.
- Assist in negotiating and finalizing contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms, pricing, and service levels.
- Monitor supplier performance, conduct supplier evaluations, and implement improvement initiatives to optimize supplier relationships and mitigate risks.
- Assist in analyzing procurement data, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and preparing reports for management review.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact procurement processes, and recommend adjustments to sourcing strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier information, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance, legal, and operations, to ensure smooth coordination and alignment in procurement activities.
