Scheduling submission of expense reports, LPO’s and other correspondence
Reviewing financial statements, journals, ledgers, and other records to ensure accuracy
Managing employee payroll, including calculating wages and deductions and processing checks
Communicating with clients and vendors regarding payments, billing, and outstanding invoices
Receiving and processing incoming payments, issuing payments to vendors, and keeping financial records
Calculating taxes owed by individuals or businesses based on government regulations
Manage daily office administration and accounting.
Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
Requirements:
Min 5 years of accounting experience
Immediate availability
Previous experience in engineering consultancies, real estate start up is preferred
XERO proficiency
Must be comfortable with industry hours (not fixed)
Proven experience as an accountant who is an all-rounder and has worked in a small company
