directly engage with GCS business and technical teams to timely deliver pragmatic, risk balanced legal guidance supporting the launch and the scaling of GM’s global connected services business across the region.
collaborate with legal colleagues in safety, marketing, product development, privacy, cybersecurity, and other disciplines to educate those colleagues on GCS business plans and product and service offerings and to align on legal guidance for delivery to GCS, focusing on tailoring GCS’s common global solutions for the MEO market.
draft and negotiate contracts supporting the OnStar business with a particular focus on in-bound and out-bound data and content licensing and related services.
participate directly in the tailoring of global solutions to the AMEO market, focusing on compliance with local licensing and certification requirements, and with consumer protection laws and regulations.
advise on responses to customer and regulator inquiries including relating to connected services.
collaborate with global legal and business teams to ensure coordinated and compliant design and provision of connected automotive solutions with a focus on common global processes and common global legal requirements, where appropriate.
Assists Legal Counsel on general legal activities, contracts, third-party agreements and vendor supplier relationships.
