Our Associate Recruiter works closely with a team of recruiters in a fast-paced recruiting organization. The Recruiting Associate is an integral partner in managing recruiting activities and building candidate relationships; often providing candidates with their first impression of Amazon. This candidate will be an organizational guru, work effectively with internal and external clients and candidates, possess great communication skills, have the ability to shift gears at a moments notice and enjoy the challenges of helping to build a great organization of talented individuals. Knowledge & Skills Required
Creating and tracking candidate profiles through the process
Identifying lags in the overall recruiting process and working with the recruiting team to streamline processes
Working directly with sourcing recruiters, candidates and hiring managers
Updating candidate records and job postings in recruiting systems and confirming new hires
Providing follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone and email
Tracking recruiting activities and providing candidate status in a weekly report
Assisting in the coordination of other recruiting activities as needed
Maintain a high level of candidate engagement & top class candidate experience.
Brief candidates on the assessments to be taken & place them according to process profiled for
Efficient in taking candidates through the interview process
Schedule & conduct floor walks covering all employees across LOBs
Screen and shortlist referrals for further rounds within a TAT of 24 hours from the time of application
2 years of recruiting coordinator, admin or recruiting experience
Experience with MS Word and Excel
Strong customer service orientation with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations. We are looking for a team player with a solid work ethic.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interface with all levels of the organization and with external candidates.
Flexibility and the ability to change direction quickly and be comfortable in a fast-paced and potentially ambiguous environment.
A solid sense of accountability and acute personal judgment - ability to handle confidential information and escalate issues when appropriate.
