Role Details:

Own the processes around quality metrics (from data collection to analysis and reporting)
Maintains accurate and timely quality metrics reporting
Run data analysis on defects
Recommend, plan and implement enhancements to the Accounts Payable processes to attain control effectiveness
Develop formal training programs to fill in the knowledge gap and improve quality of the P2P end to end process
Train team members on process adherence when defects are found
Lead any process changes or new process implementation related to quality control and quality assurance
Review journal entries passed by the team for manual / online payments.
Pass assigned high risk journal entries
Ensure proper and accurate accounting treatment and coding is followed in all Accounts Payable transactions - Work with all other accounting teams to resolve data issues and defects found
Review of tax regulations in all countries, financial policies & procedures, application of delegation of authority & internal controls.
Identifying control gaps and leading system driven controls, liaising with internal and external auditors for P2P


Minimum qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting/Commerce

Minimum experience:

Minimum 3 years experiences in quality control/quality assurance in a support function
Experience in accounting will be needed

Skillset (job specific technical skills and behavioral competencies needed):

Advance MS Excel and ppt. Ability to run macros in xls and manipulate xls formulas with ease
Able to meet short deadlines and deliver quality work under pressure
Analytical and numerical skills (some Six Sigma knowledge is a plus)
Comfortable with large data sets and IT systems
Strong customer service skills and interaction with cross functional teams
Excellent written and oral communication skills - Fluent English
