Senior Payroll Specialist
Responsibilities:
Ensure that employee payroll processing follows state laws and is processed accurately and timely.
Review payroll reports and timesheets for correctness before payroll transactions.
Oversee salary changes, deductions, bonus, vacations payouts, and benefits for employees.
Analyze payroll issues and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain payroll system up-to-date and accurate.
Maintain employee payroll records and timesheet data for future references.
Address and resolve employee complaints relating to the payroll system / queries in a timely manner.
Qualification :
Bachelor Degree in Accounting
Proven experience (Minimum 5years ) required in a payroll position in a fast-paced environment
In-depth knowledge of general accounting principles and payroll best practices
Hands on experience with Oracle HRMS system
Great attention to detail and confidentiality
Outstanding organizational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Aptitude in problem-solving
Excellent organization and mathematical skills
Strong knowledge of tax and LL laws
Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications
Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills
Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
Physically able to work seated in front of a computer for long hours at a time
