The dispatcher is responsible for assigning live orders to the best and most available rider, in a timely manner in order to optimize delivery time. In addition the fleet manager will be responsible for scheduling rider shifts and following up on all orders to minimise the risk of delays.

Responsibilities
Check on orders that are not successfully auto-dispatched and allocate them to the most available rider
Ensure that the order is delivered within the time frame communicated to the customer
Execute the planning of rider capacity in every area on a daily basis
Ensure of the availability of all riders at the start of operational hours
Be able to anticipate any rider capacity issues, blockers to timely delivery SLAs and any other event that could hinder the smooth running of deliveries
Maintain communication flow with the Customer Service department to ensure customers are up-to-date on any issues related to their orders
