Drive the Retail Deposit Business for Individual customers in the UAE to achieve a profitable portfolio and facilitating customer propositions keeping customer value to Bank

Products include (Conventional and Islamic): Current Account Savings Accounts (Basic Savings Easy Saver and Dream Saver) Term Deposits (Fixed Deposits Unfixed Deposits and Step up Saver) and Mashreq Millionaire

 

Key Result Areas:

Manage the P&L for Retail Deposits – balance growth sales attrition control revenue and expense management

Work closely with the Business Manager - Deposits and Remittances and assist to ensure alignment of products and proposition as well as leveraging of initiatives (ensuring no redundancies)

Make available superior products either developed internally or negotiated with outside suppliers/vendors to customers

Use the marketing budget to develop effective promotions

Expand the Distribution channels beyond the regular bank channels

Directly manage the portfolio movements of monies across different deposit products to achieve the overall balance sheet goals

People management – motivate people to deliver desired goals and behavior

Develop processes for product delivery and product booking to provide superior customer service without compromising on operational controls

Identify new opportunities for creating bundled packages

Ensure that all products and processes meet the Compliance requirements of the country

Control attrition of customer to targeted level through relationship management loyalty enhancement programs and effective ant-attrition processes

 

 

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

 

 

 

10+ years of related banking and finance experience

Strong understanding of profitability drivers and market development across various product life cycle stages

High level of analytical skills and ability to understand scientific marketing techniques including surveying and statistical analysis in marketing program development

Ability to manage and lead cross functional project teams

Familiarity with banks operations sales and support environments and a strong customer focus

Appreciation of Islamic banking concepts
