r of Marketing is responsible for the day-to-day marketing efforts and is responsible for the overall Positioning of the hotels, product communications and local customer development including, Rooms, Restaurants, and Events. In addition, he is responsible for implementing marketing strategy, market performance and meeting budget, forecasting, and good business integration intentions. Strategies will include pricing, status, direct sales, market mix, marketing, and public relations. Candidates for this position must have a flexible leadership style, have excellent communication and decision-making skills and smart business insight.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop, prepare and implement the Marketing Strategy and activity calendar.

• Working closely with the Sales & Revenue teams to ensure all necessary PR & Marketing initiatives are in line with the Company objectives.

• Managing the Marketing team and overseeing their projects to ensure in line with Company objectives.

• The ability to maintain a rewards program / (Loyalty Program).

• Guide the social media specialists to manage the social accounts professionally and promote the proper content.

• Observe the graphic design team to ensure efficiency, quality and excellence of their designing tasks.

• Responsible for producing, including content, all required branded (promotional) materials, both offline and online, for all target markets,

• Responsible for agency selection, price and contract negotiations, budget management and project management.

• Developing a wide range of innovative brand (chain) messages and differentiators and devising appropriate communication methods.

• Liaising with main suppliers i.e. printers, graphic design, media agencies, PR agencies and photographers.

• Maintain and promote a team work environment with effective and clear communication amongst co-associates.

• Ensure best client service is being made available through communication amongst the team, cross training within the department and appropriate office coverage.

• Works with sales managers to ensure understanding of sales strategy and effective implementation of this strategy for the segment.

• Works with management team to create and implement a marketing plan addressing revenue, customers and the market

• Ensure to meet or exceed budgeted goals.

• Follow and track company cross-sell procedures.

• Utilize profiles database to determine geographic areas for marketing campaigns.

• Assists with the development and implementation of promotions, both internal and external.

• Creating a focus on attracting new business.

• Attending and contributing to the marketing monthly strategy meeting.

• Updating and owning the marketing strategy & marketing plan with the vice president. • Develop and send informative press releases to targeted lists highlighting all activities and promotions.

• Maintain and expand corporate incentive program via direct mail, personal visits etc.

• Responsible for the training of marketing managers and staff.

• Evaluates and drives the Brands participation in the various marketing channels, Market Sales, Event Booking Centers and other Sales convention.

• Monitors all day-to-day activities of direct reports.

• Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).

Other Responsibilities:

In addition to the above enumerated duties and responsibilities, the incumbent is expected to deliver excellent and delightful customer service in any situation throughout Midas Hotel and Casino whether self-initiated or directed, or whenever the opportunity presents itself even if such action or service is not directly related to the incumbent’s core tasks and responsibilities as long as it is aligned and consistent with Brand’s Vision, Mission and Values and improves customer service delivery.

Job Requirements / Competencies:

Academic/Professional Qualifications: Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel Management, or MBA

Relevant Experience: Minimum Ten (10) years in Marketing or related professional area and Minimum five (5) years’ experience in senior marketing role.

Technical Skill:

High level of computer literacy, Oracle system experience is essential, Knowledge of computer accounting programs, math DOM skills as well as budgetary analysis capabilities required.
