Job Overview
We are seeking a visually creative and strategically minded Social Media & Digital Ad Designer to join our growing team. You will be the architect of our visual identity across all social platforms and digital advertising channels. Your role is to transform marketing objectives and brand stories into scroll-stopping, performance-driving visuals that engage, convert, and build community. You are fluent in the language of trends, algorithms, and aesthetics.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Creation:
Conceptualize, design, and produce a high volume of engaging, on-brand static graphics, short-form videos (Reels/TikTok/Shorts), GIFs, carousels, and motion graphics for all social platforms (Meta, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, etc.).
Design high-converting digital ads for platforms like Google Display, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, and programmatic networks.
Adapt core campaign assets into platform-specific formats and sizes.
Create templates and visual systems to ensure brand consistency and team efficiency.
Strategy & Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with the marketing, content, and strategy teams to develop creative concepts that align with campaign goals, brand voice, and target audiences.
Participate in brainstorms and contribute innovative ideas for campaigns and content series.
Understand marketing funnels and design creative tailored for awareness, consideration, and conversion stages.
Stay ahead of digital design trends, social platform updates, and emerging technologies (e.g., basic AI image/video tools).
Asset Management & Optimization:
Manage and organize digital assets, including photography, video clips, and graphics.
Edit and retouch photos and video content as needed.
Prepare and deliver final files optimized for web and mobile performance.
Analyze performance data with the marketing team to iterate and optimize creative based on what resonates best with the audience (A/B testing visuals).
Required Skills & Qualifications
Portfolio: A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing exceptional skills in social media graphics, digital ads, and short-form video content. A portfolio review is mandatory.
Experience: 2-4 years of professional design experience, specifically in social media, digital advertising, or a related agency environment.
Technical Proficiency:
Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
Proficient in Figma or Sketch for collaborative design and prototyping.
Experienced with video editing, motion graphics, and basic animation.
Familiarity with project management tools.
Design Fundamentals: Mastery of typography, color theory, composition, and visual hierarchy.
Platform Savvy: Intimate knowledge of social media platform specifications, best practices, and UX/UI trends.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing for e-commerce or direct-response (DR) advertising.
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and web design principles.
Skills in photography or illustration.
Experience using Canva for rapid prototyping and team collaboration.
Knowledge of UX/UI principles as they relate to ad landing pages.
Familiarity with 3D design software (Blender, Spline) is a plus.
