Job Description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Office Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing shop drawings, quantity take-offs, and technical coordination across disciplines. The role requires strong knowledge of the Egyptian Code, proficiency in engineering software, and within a dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and technical specifications for projects.
  • Develop and review shop drawings and coordinate between different disciplines (Architectural, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical).
  • Review design drawings and ensure compliance with technical standards and codes.
  • Create and update project schedules in coordination with the planning department.
  • Prepare and review interim and final payment certificates for contractors and clients.
  • Provide technical support to the site team and resolve execution-related issues.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for quotations and technical submittals.
  • Generate regular technical reports outlining work progress and any technical observations.
  • Ensure that site activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and codes.

Education:

  • BSc in Architecture.

Experience:

  • Experience in architectural design and technical office.

Knowledge:

  • Good knowledge of quantity surveying.
  • Good knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Adobe Photoshop).
