About the Role:
We are seeking a Costing, Inventory & Production Accounting Executive to join our Finance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate product costing, inventory valuation, and batch-wise production reconciliation in a fast-paced cosmetics manufacturing environment. You’ll be the go-to expert for SAP-driven controls over BOM consumption, wastage, and yield.
What You’ll Do
Costing & Margin Analysis
Maintain and review product-wise standard and actual costing
Analyze gross margin by SKU, batch, and product category
Monitor impact of RM, PM, and conversion cost changes
Support pricing and profitability analysis
Inventory & Production Accounting
Handle valuation of RM, PM, SFG, and FG as per accounting standards
Manage month-end inventory closing and reconciliation in SAP
Validate production postings and batch settlements
Ensure accurate accounting of rejections, holds, and reworks
Batch-wise Reconciliation & Control
Review batch-wise reconciliation (SFG, FG, losses, wastage)
Monitor BOM consumption vs actual usage
Report variances in material consumption, yield, and process losses
Ensure proper accounting of CIP, line, and packing losses
SAP Integration & Controls
Act as finance focal point for SAP MM–FI–CO integration
Validate material master, BOM, and cost component structures
Support month-end closing activities
Coordinate with SAP team on system controls and corrections
Audit & Compliance
Support internal and external audits related to inventory and costing
Provide stock, variance, and reconciliation reports
Ensure compliance with SOPs and accounting policies
Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner with Production, Quality, Warehouse, and Finance teams
Align physical stock, production records, and SAP data
Drive continuous improvement in costing and inventory processes
What We’re Looking For
Commerce Graduate / CMA / Cost Accountant preferred
5–8 years’ experience in FMCG / manufacturing
Strong hands-on expertise in SAP MM, FI, and CO modules
Deep understanding of BOM, yield, wastage, and batch manufacturing
Analytical mindset with strong reconciliation skills
High attention to detail and control orientation
