As the ARE Civil Cable for the TAQA Power Project, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of critical power transmission and distribution works. This is your opportunity to oversee complex civil cable installations, ensuring safety, quality, and innovation at every step. Join us to leave your mark on a transformative project that powers communities and drives industry growth.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and monitor all civil works related to cable laying, trenching, ducting, and associated infrastructure for the power sector.Ensure all activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals for civil cable works.Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.Conduct site inspections, progress monitoring, and reporting to the Resident Engineer and Project Manager.Assist in risk assessments, mitigation planning, and implementation of best engineering practices.Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure timely completion of deliverables.A BACKGROUND THAT CONVINCES USBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.Minimum 7 years of experience in civil works for power transmission and distribution projects, with a focus on cable laying.Proven track record in consultancy or supervision roles within the power sector.Solid knowledge of international standards and local regulations for civil and cable works.Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.Professional certification or membership in relevant engineering bodies is an advantage.AN ENVIRONMENT THAT MOTIVATES YOUAt TAQA, we foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional growth.
