About the Role



We are seeking a Procurement Section Head We are seeking an experienced Procurement Section Head to lead and manage procurement activities for construction and engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in their discipline (Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical), excellent supplier negotiation skills, and proven leadership experience in procurement operations.

Responsibilities



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the procurement section for assigned discipline(s)
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project and company objectives
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services
  • Review technical specifications and ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Monitor procurement budgets, costs, and schedules
  • Coordinate with engineering, project management, and finance teams
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and applicable regulations
  • Prepare procurement reports and performance evaluations

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or related field)
  • Minimum 7–10 years of procurement experience in construction or engineering projects
  • At least 3–5 years in a supervisory or section head role
  • Strong knowledge of local and international suppliers and procurement best practices
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills
  • Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
