All searches are led directly by the founder and executed through a structured, hands-on process — from role definition and market mapping to shortlisting and offer support. We operate lean by design and take full ownership of every mandate.
The Role
We are looking for a Research Associate (Recruiting & Operations) to provide structured research and operational support across recruiting projects. The role focuses on admin, market mapping, coordination, outreach execution, and pipeline management.
This is a support role. Strategic decisions, candidate conversations, and client interactions are led by the founder.
Responsibilities
Research and market mapping
- Research target companies and profiles for active searches
- Build and maintain structured longlists
- Support market mapping for potential client outreach (companies and decision-makers)
Candidate pipeline support
- Review incoming CVs and profiles against defined criteria
- Shortlist suitable candidates and flag unclear cases
- Prepare and upload candidate profiles to tools (client-facing boards)
Outbound execution (non-selling)
- Send approved outreach emails
- Support light LinkedIn outreach where appropriate
- Track responses and flag relevant follow-ups
Coordination and scheduling
- Manage interview scheduling and follow-ups
- Keep calendars, timelines, and candidate flow organized
Systems and data management
- Maintain candidate and client records
- Ensure candidate and pipeline data is accurate and up to date
Requirements
- Excellent English (written and spoken) — required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience using LinkedIn for reach outs
- Comfortable working with clear processes and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and escalate when unsure
- Experience in recruiting research, operations, or talent support is a plus
- German is a strong advantage, but not required

Contract and Setup
- Freelance / contractor role
- Fully remote (open to candidates worldwide)
- Availability during European business hours preferred
- 15–25 hours per week
- Monthly retainer based on experience and availability
- Initial trial period with potential for long-term collaboration
