Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Textile Dyeing Engineer specializing in Denim, located in 10th of Ramadan. The individual will manage and oversee dyeing processes, ensure quality standards are met, and approach challenges with innovative solutions. Key responsibilities include analyzing and enhancing dyeing techniques, collaborating with production teams to optimize manufacturing processes, conducting R&D for new dyeing methods, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of Indigo Dyeing lines (Rope / Slasher Dyeing)
• Assist in preparing and adjusting dye recipes according to required shades
• Monitor dyeing stages including:
• Reduction
• Oxidation
• Dipping & Drying
• Control and follow up on:
• Indigo concentration
• Machine speed
• Temperature parameters
• Collect samples and coordinate with Lab & Quality teams
• Identify and report shade variations or dyeing defects
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Support waste reduction of dyes, chemicals, water, and energy
• Prepare basic daily production and quality reports
• Ensure compliance with HSE and safety standards

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry
• 1–3 years of experience in Indigo Dyeing for Denim (Mandatory)
• Practical knowledge of:
• Indigo dyeing processes
• Denim fabric characteristics
• Ability to work in shift systems
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic proficiency in MS Excel
