Responsibilities:
- Respond to tender documents, writing proposals, reports and supporting paperwork.
- Support the sales team in technical meetings/conference calls
- Support presales site activities, preliminary site visit, coordinating trial test supports / preparation
- Working closely with Sales to ensure the successful closure of the sales process.
- Perform in-depth and high-level technical presentations or training for customers, partners, and prospects.
- Respond to technical and/or functionality questionnaires.
- Developing solutions and organizing, planning, creating & delivering compelling proof of concept demonstrations
- Keeping abreast of market trends and product & competitor landscapes
- Ensuring that solutions outlined in the Statement of Work adhere to best practices and meet client requirements.
- Liaising with Product Managers to provide feedback from clients about product requirements.
- Attend and/or prepare technology presentation sessions/workshops for targeted customers.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create the required documentation (Design Documents, SOWs, etc.).
- Identify and report on competitive trends (products, promotions, etc.)
- Identify, create, update, and use cases and acceptance criteria, and provide functional specifications.
- Identify gaps in the customer environment that need to be resolved. Make functional and technical suggestions to the R&D team for the product roadmap.
- Train sales teams on new features and competitors.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in engineering.- 2+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, technical sales, or solution design.
- Strong experience in responding to tenders, proposal writing, and technical solutioning.
- Knowledge of technical solution design, system integration, and product demonstrations.
- Experience with Proof of Concept (PoC) development and conducting trials for clients.
- Familiarity with technical and functional specifications, gap analysis, and requirement gathering.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales, product, and engineering teams.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
