Our Leading banking client is having opening for CHANGE RELEASE MANAGEMENT
Includes responsibilities such as overseeing the
- Planning,
- Scheduling,
- Deployment of IT changes
- Software updates to minimize disruption and risk,
Coordinating with various teams (development, operations, stakeholders), ensuring compliance with ITIL frameworks, conducting risk assessments, and performing post-release reviews
- Strategic Planning:
Develop and manage release schedules and cycles, ensuring alignment with major vendors and stakeholders.
- Risk Management:
Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with changes and releases to prevent disruptions to business operations.
- Coordination:
Liaise with development, testing, operations, and business teams to ensure smooth coordination of release activities.
- Change Control:
Oversee the application of change control procedures, ensuring changes are properly assessed, authorized, and documented.
- Deployment & Implementation:
Lead the planning and execution of deployment activities, including the creation of implementation and run books.
- Communication:
Manage all communications regarding changes and releases, providing status updates to all internal and external stakeholders.
- Process Improvement:
Refine the change and release process to improve efficiency, balance governance with agility, and promote best practices.
- Performance Monitoring:
Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor the performance of changes and releases, ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Post-Release Activities:
Conduct post-release reviews, gather feedback, and document lessons learned to facilitate continuous improvement.
