Purpose:

Responsible for developing and implementing fixes and improvements, working with different teams to deploy updates and resolve issues that arise during the QA process.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of QA including processes, establishing metrics and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met using industry-accepted best practices.
• Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.
• Oversee and follow up on external contracted testers.
• Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).
• Diagnose defects and track them from discovery to resolution.
• Partner with engineering teams to stay informed of new technologies being introduced and to ensure that system components are designed for testability.
• Respond to all requests from team members in a timely manner.
• Track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts.
• Generate detailed reports on application status and quality per iteration.
• Deliver effective testing outcomes against the pressures of time, cost and quality.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable AML/CTF rules and regulations as required in the conduct of your role.
• Ensure timely completion of all relevant AML/CTF training provided by the Group.
• Ensure response to AML, CTF & sanctions inquiries in a timely manner.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, ISTQB certifications are a plus.
• 4 – 6 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Prior success using a metrics-driven approach and closed-loop feedback to improve software deliverables and improve predictability and reliability of releases.
• Deep understanding of existing QA best practices and methodologies to design, implement and automate processes and Load and stress testing.
• Experience in:
• writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• defect management and test case management tools.
• software development life cycle and test cycles (unit, regression, functional, systems, stress and scale, and smoke and sanity).
• coordinating with external QA resources
• Experience in or knowledge of the following is a plus:
• Automated functional tools.
• Requirement’s ambiguity analysis and test coverage analysis.
• Load and stress testing.
• C# and different .net framework components.
• Demonstrates advanced level proficiency in MS-Office including MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint and MS-Project Server.
• Excellent persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent command of Arabic and English.
• Able to build partnerships and work well in teams
• Multitasker, with the ability to meet challenging deadlines, and to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
