Job Summary:
Senior Technical Sales Engineer will oversee sales and business development for post-harvest agrochemical products designed to protect and enhance the quality of fruits and vegetables. This role involves leading a team, managing client relationships, and ensuring a strong market presence within the agricultural sector.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the agrochemical sales team to achieve business objectives.
- Promote and sell post-harvest agrochemical solutions for fruits and vegetables.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market share within the agriculture sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, distributors, and agricultural partners.
- Provide technical support and product knowledge to clients.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs to guide strategy.
- Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure product quality and availability.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Plant Protection, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the agrochemical or agricultural industry, specifically in post-harvest solutions for fruits and vegetables.
- Strong technical knowledge of agrochemical products and applications.
- Proven experience in sales management or team leadership roles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of agriculture market dynamics and customer behavior.
- Ability to work independently and lead a results-driven team.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
