The Role: Visionary Leader & Strategic Odoo Expert

We are seeking a highly seasoned Senior Odoo Project Manager with over 15 years of experience to lead our most complex, enterprise-level Odoo implementations. This is not a typical project management role; it is a position for a strategic advisor, a client partner, and a master of the Odoo ecosystem. You will be responsible for guiding high-value clients through their digital transformation journeys, ensuring that projects deliver exceptional business value, and mentoring the next generation of Odoo consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Project Leadership:

Own the end-to-end delivery of multiple, concurrent large-scale Odoo implementation projects , from discovery and scoping to go-live and hyper-care.

Act as the primary strategic point of contact for C-level executives and key stakeholders, managing expectations, building trust, and ensuring alignment between project outcomes and business objectives.

Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation, utilizing advanced project management methodologies (Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall).

Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing effective solutions before they impact scope, timeline, or budget.

Odoo Expertise & Solutioning:

Leverage deep functional and technical knowledge of the Odoo platform (all core modules: Sales, CRM, Inventory, Manufacturing, Accounting, HR, Website, etc.) to guide solution design and architecture.

Lead complex functional workshops to analyze business processes, challenge inefficiencies, and design future-state workflows optimized for Odoo.

Collaborate closely with Solution Architects and Lead Developers to design robust, scalable, and sustainable technical solutions for customizations and integrations.

Provide expert guidance on Odoo best practices, version upgrades, and long-term platform strategy.

Client & Stakeholder Management:

Build and maintain strong, lasting client relationships, positioning yourself and the company as a trusted advisor.

Manage project communications with precision and clarity, providing regular, insightful status updates to all stakeholders.

Negotiate scope changes and change orders effectively, ensuring commercial clarity and project profitability.

Team Leadership & Mentorship:

Lead, motivate, and mentor a cross-functional project team comprising functional consultants, developers, analysts, and QA engineers.

Drive excellence and accountability within the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Contribute to the development of company methodologies, tools, and standards for project delivery.

Mentor junior and mid-level Project Managers, sharing knowledge and elevating the capabilities of the entire practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Mandatory Requirements:

15+ years of progressive experience in managing full-lifecycle ERP implementation projects.

8+ years of experience specifically managing Odoo implementations as a Project Manager or Lead Consultant.

A proven portfolio of successfully delivered, large-scale, end-to-end Odoo implementations (v13+), including complex customizations and third-party integrations.

Expert-level knowledge of the Odoo application stack, framework, and deployment options (Odoo.sh, On-Premise, Cloud).

Proven experience acting as a strategic partner to C-level executives (CEO, CFO, COO).

Exceptional command of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project) and methodologies.

Superior skills in client relationship management, negotiation, and conflict resolution.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for a non-technical audience.

Highly Desirable:

Odoo Certification(s).

PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification.

Experience working for an Odoo Partner or a similar system integrator.
