About the Role


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented candidate to join our Operations Team in a fully remote capacity. This is an entry-level role designed for individuals eager to build a strong foundation in the M&A and business advisory space.

The successful candidate will support the matchmaking process between businesses for sale and potential acquirers, ensuring that qualified prospects are identified, approached, and brought into the pipeline through structured and strategic outreach.

This position requires a blend of research, analytical thinking, structured communication, and operational discipline, all while working independently in a remote environment.



Key Responsibilities


Daily Listing Review

Analyze active business listings to fully understand each opportunity, its value proposition, and strategic positioning.

ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) Identification

Define the ICP for each listing, including sector focus, geographic fit, buyer type (strategic, financial, individual), and acquisition rationale.

Prospect Research & Mapping

Identify potential acquirers using internal databases, online research, market intelligence, and industry sources.

Outreach Strategy Development

Plan tailored outreach strategies per ICP segment—defining key messaging, channels (email, LinkedIn, calls), and prioritization.

Execution of Outreach

Proactively contact targeted buyers/investors to generate interest and bring them into the matchmaking pipeline.

Pipeline & CRM Management

Log all outreach activity, buyer responses, and follow-ups in HubSpot, maintaining data accuracy and ensuring clear handovers to advisors.

Collaboration with Advisory Team

Coordinate remotely with internal Advisors to align on outreach priorities and ensure a seamless transition of qualified leads.

Reporting & Feedback

Provide regular reporting on outreach progress, buyer engagement, and market feedback to support deal execution strategies.



Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum 1 year of experience in business development, research, sales, consulting, or operations is advantageous.

Fresh graduates with strong analytical and communication skills are encouraged to apply.

Excellent research and analytical skills.

Strong written and verbal communication in English.

High attention to detail and organizational discipline.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) is an advantage.

Self-starter capable of working autonomously and delivering within deadlines.

Proactive, curious, and eager to learn about industries, buyers, and transactions.

Comfortable collaborating remotely across time zones using digital tools (e.g., Sharepoint, Microsoft Teams, HubSpot, Apollo, Pitchbook).
