About The Job
As a Farms Development Coordinator, you will be doing the following activities
Support Milk Category strategy in line with functional & business agendas, build market insight and submit regular reports on these market studies.
Develop milk suppliers by providing technical support to small farms allowing win-win business relation.
Explore new fields to expand supply base and ensure availability as per demand and agreed KPIs considering cost, quality & service.
Work on improving quality and value of products or services purchased through farming hygiene follow up.
Recommend structured forecasting for Milk Sourcing based on market insight gathered from the field visits.
Co-ordinate and provide input for standard cost setting process from cost of milk in the market by working with local sourcing team.
Support implementation of new Procurement projects, work processes and systems by implementing supplier development programs than reduce the overall supply chain cost.
About You
To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have
Education University Bachelors Degree preferable in veterinary or agriculture.
Location You will be based in Danone Obour Factory, but you will rotate on milk suppliers across Egypt.
Languages required Excellent Arabic & English - spoken, written and reading.
Experience 2 to 4 years of experience in a related field.
Drivers License needed.
