We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to support and manage enterprise database environments, with a primary focus on Microsoft SQL Server (60%) and secondary responsibility for Oracle Databases (40%). The role will ensure database availability, performance, security, and reliability across production and non-production environments.

Key Responsibilities

SQL Server (≈60%)

 Install, configure, administer, and support Microsoft SQL Server databases. 

 Monitor database performance, optimize queries, indexing, and execution plans. 

 Perform backup, restore, and recovery operations. 

 Implement and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Always On, Failover Clustering). 

 Manage database security, roles, permissions, and auditing. 

 Support application teams with database design, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. 

Oracle Database (≈40%)

 Administer and maintain Oracle databases (installation, configuration, patching). 

 Perform backup and recovery using RMAN. 

 Monitor and tune Oracle database performance. 

 Manage users, roles, privileges, and security policies. 

 Support upgrades, migrations, and day-to-day operational issues

Requirements

Proven experience as a Database Administrator supporting both SQL Server and Oracle. 

 Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server (primary). 

 Solid working experience with Oracle Database. 

 Knowledge of backup/recovery, performance tuning, and database security. 

 Experience in production environments with SLAs.
