Job Purpose:

To lead ELSEWEDY CABLES in monitoring and managing the energy efficiency of a facility or organization, Implement conservation measures, monitor energy consumption, assess business decisions for sustainability, and seek out opportunities for increasing energy efficiency.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Managing all business aspects of EL SEWEDY CABLES employee and business processes related to energy management activity for the entire company.
  • Monitoring the organization’s energy usage, developing and implementing practices and procedures designed to reduce energy consumption and/or improve efficiency of usage.
  • Analyze all in-force contracts to make sure that energy efficiency is respected in the contracts.
  • Meet or exceed the goals & objectives set by the CEO and executive board.
  • Collaborate with the management team to make sure that the entire company is aware of Energy management requirements and issues.
  • Develop internal controls and policies designed to ensure that Energy management needs are met.
  • Ensuring the energy performance is taken into account in the procurement of energy-using equipment.
  • Ensuring the energy performance is taken into account in the procurement of services that could affect energy performance.
  • Provide the required discipline, evaluations, and feedback required for his staff to be successful.
  • Prepare annual budgets associated with conservation programs and determine the feasibility & cost-effectiveness of alternative/renewable energy technologies.
  • Identify non-conformance trends, and preventive actions and develop and administer investigation and corrective action programs to resolve recurring problems related to energy management these include deviations from plans, EnPIs 2nd or 3rd party audit findings, etc.
  • Evaluating, tracking, and reporting performance progress and other business issues to the CEO and/or executive board and developing plans & programs for meeting goals & objectives set by the CEO and/or executive board.
  • Monitor and take action related to energy bills, EnPIs, and other energy metrics.
  • Schedule and organize internal audits of the EnMS and the review and approval of Energy management procedures.
  • Ensure that all action and training plan items are progressing according to plan
  • Review maintenance and operational records and operating parameters.
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction to the organization by assisting energy staff in solving business problems, improving efficiency, and meeting competitive business deadlines.


Qualifications & Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering.
  • +8 years of experience.
  • Good Knowledge of the QHSE Management system
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
