Key Responsibilities

Post-Trade Lifecycle Strategy

  • Lead the end-to-end strategy for the Australian user journey after the first trade—from second transaction through to deeper product engagement and reactivation.
  • Identify and prioritise key Australian user segments (e.g., buy-and-hold investors, day traders, dormant accounts) and develop targeted lifecycle approaches.
  • Work closely with Product and Data teams to define key milestones such as time-to-second-trade, product depth, and feature utilisation.

Product & Local Experience Optimisation

  • Collaborate with Product to localise and optimise in-app journeys, prompts, and education touchpoints that support user confidence and re-engagement.
  • Provide Australian market insights to influence product development, retention mechanics, and regulatory-sensitive design choices.
  • Drive awareness and adoption of key features (e.g., Earn, Staking, Dollar-Cost Averaging) relevant to the local user base.

Lifecycle Collaboration

  • Work with CRM and Content teams to support lifecycle messaging strategies with data insights, user segmentation, and journey logic tailored to Australian customers.
  • Ensure lifecycle communications align with ASIC guidelines, risk disclosures, and local compliance requirements.

User Insights & Growth Experiments

  • Analyse Australian user behaviour through platforms like Mixpanel, GA4, Amplitude, or Looker to identify drop-off points and engagement opportunities.
  • Lead A/B tests and experiments to increase retention, engagement, and feature depth, especially among high-potential user segments.
  • Define success metrics relevant to the local market such as churn rate, trading cadence, and user health scores.

Community & Events Strategy – AU Market

  • Own and implement the community and event strategy for user retention in Australia.
  • Develop targeted programs such as educational webinars, user roundtables, in-person crypto meetups, and loyalty events to engage existing users.
  • Tailor community initiatives to specific user segments (e.g., retail holders, first-time traders, experienced crypto users).
  • Partner with local influencers, educators, and thought leaders to amplify messaging and drive authentic engagement.
  • Measure community/event impact on trading activity, satisfaction, and long-term platform usage.

What we're looking for

  • 5–8+ years in growth, lifecycle, or product marketing with a strong record in fintech, crypto, or trading-related industries.
  • Experience driving retention and engagement through user segmentation, product education, and strategic programs.
  • Strong understanding of the Australian crypto user base, behaviour patterns, and regulatory environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver user engagement strategies that align with compliance and localisation needs.
  • Highly collaborative with strong communication skills—able to partner with Product, Data, CRM, and Legal teams effectively.
  • Analytical and experiment-driven, with working knowledge of behavioural data platforms and retention KPIs.
