For a large reputable manufacturing company in 6 October, we are looking for Costing Inventory Control Section Head. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Costing Inventory Control Section Head will oversee and manage product costing, inventory control, and related financial reporting activities. This role is critical to ensuring accurate cost records, effective stock management, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will lead a small team and collaborate closely with finance, production, procurement, and warehouse departments by assuming the following responsibilities:

Main Responsibilities:
Costing:
- Maintain and update standard costs for products, raw materials, and semi-finished goods.
- Analyze manufacturing costs and variances, identifying areas for cost reduction.
- Monitor changes in raw materials, labor, and overhead to ensure accurate costing.
- Assist in the development of product pricing strategies based on cost analysis.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to cost accounting.
Inventory Control:
- Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reconciliations and reporting.
- Ensure accurate inventory records in the ERP or warehouse management system.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and stock variances.
- Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, or excess stock and provide actionable recommendations.
- Coordinate and oversee cycle counts and full physical stock takes.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum [7] years of experience in inventory control and cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Strong knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation methods.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a small team.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
