Position Overview:
As a Sales Consultant for the Higher Education market, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing existing client relationships, and promoting our solutions to universities, colleges, and other educational institutions across the MENA region. You will play a key role in achieving sales targets, growing our client base, and driving the company’s presence in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to promote our solutions to higher education institutions across the MENA region.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at universities, colleges, and other educational organizations.
Lead Generation: Identify and generate new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and leveraging other sales techniques.
Sales Presentations & Proposals: Deliver compelling presentations and create tailored proposals to meet client needs.
Negotiation & Closing: Drive negotiations and close deals effectively while ensuring client satisfaction.
Market Research: Stay up to date on the latest trends in the higher education market and identify opportunities for growth.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (marketing, product development, customer service) and partners to ensure the successful delivery of products/services to clients.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate sales records and reports, including sales forecasts, customer interactions, and progress toward targets.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in library science, information systems, business, education, or related field.
Must be fluent in Arabic and English, including speaking, reading and writing.
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in libraries and/or the publishing/technology sector, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of the higher education landscape, including key players and trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed and grow professionally.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software (Salesforce.com, etc.), and familiar with AI tools.
