Job Title: Senior Field Service Engineer & Technical Lead (CTX, X-Ray, ETD Systems)

Location: Kuwait

About the Role:

We are seeking an elite Senior Field Service Engineer to act as our primary Technical Lead for advanced security screening systems. This is a hybrid leadership role that combines deep technical expertise in complex electromechanical systems with the responsibility of supervising on-site engineering teams. You will be the key technical authority, ensuring the operational excellence and 24/7 reliability of critical systems in high-stakes environments such as international airports.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership & Advanced Support

• Serve as the on-site technical for the installation, maintenance, and repair of advanced X-ray, CTX, and Explosive Trace Detection (ETD) systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex, multi-system faults spanning hydraulic, electrical, electro-mechanical, and IT/network subsystems.

2. Team Leadership & Development

• Directly supervise, mentor, and coordinate teams of engineers and technicians during major installations and maintenance operations.
• Act as the primary technical liaison between the company and the customer, advising on optimal system operation, maintenance strategies, and upgrades.

3. Operational Excellence & Compliance

• Develop, plan, and execute proactive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize system uptime and reliability.
• Maintain rigorous and accurate technical documentation, including detailed service reports, system configurations, and incident logs.
• Ensure all on-site activities are conducted in strict compliance with international health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on field service experience with complex security screening systems (X-ray, CTX, ETD is mandatory).
• Proven track record (2+ years) in a technical leadership or supervisory capacity, leading teams on-site.
