Job Description

The Warehouse Manager will lead the warehouse team, managing both the spare parts warehouse and the production warehouse (focused on CKD, Raw materials, Sub-Assy, Local semi finished, KD, DPC, Scrap, CBU warehouses).He will be responsible for ensures the efficient receipt, storage, inventory management, and distribution of materials and product

 

Warehouse Operations Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including managing the receiving, storing, picking, and shipping of materials for both the production warehouse and the spare parts warehouse.
  • Ensure the proper organization of warehouse space to optimize storage capacity and improve inventory handling efficiency for both warehouses.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels for all warehouse categories, ensuring materials art available for production schedules, maintenance activities, and customer needs.

 

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and manage a team responsible for warehouse operations, ensuring each team member understands their role, objectives, and KPIs.
  • Provide clear communication on departmental objectives, performance metrics, priorities.
  • Offer continuous training and development opportunities for warehouse staff to enhance their skills and knowledge of warehouse best practices, safety protocols, and inventory management systems.

Spare Parts Warehouse Management:

  • Manage the spare parts warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of spare parts for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • - Coordinate with the workshop team to ensure that necessary spare parts are readily available for ongoing repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with the mobile service operations, ensuring that spare parts, tools, and equipment are available for maintenance teams working outside the workshop.

 

Production Warehouse Management:

  • Oversee inventory management and operations within the production warehouse, ensure the efficient handling of all warehouse's materials & units
  • Work closely with the production planning team to ensure that the materials required fo production are available on time and in the correct quantities to meet production schedules.

 

Maintenance and Facility Management:

  • Ensure that all warehouse facilities, including storage areas, equipment, and vehicles, are maintained in good working condition.
  • Oversee the maintenance of warehouse facilities and the equipment used for inventory handling, ensuring regular inspections and preventative maintenance are conducted.
  • - Monitor and manage the condition of the warehouse infrastructure and take action as needed to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

 

Safety and Compliance:

  • Implement and ensure strict adherence to safety standards, health regulations, and environmental policies within the warehouse environment.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and compliance checks to ensure that all warehouse activities are compliant with local laws and industry best practices.
  • Provide regular safety training and ensure that all team members are equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to perform their tasks safely.

 

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities, including inventory levels, stock movements, and safety inspections.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management on warehouse performance, including inventory turnover, on-time deliveries, stock outs, and other key metrics.
  • Ensure proper documentation of inventory transactions, including receipts, deliveries, an

inventory adjustments.


 

 

 

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience (8 - 12 years) in warehouse management or logistics, including leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and supply chain best practices.
  • Experience managing warehouses in a production and maintenance environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop

diverse team.

  • Ability to use warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, and other relevant software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across tea Solid understanding of safety regulations, compliance, and operational standards within warehouse environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred
  • Experience with inventory management software and systems.
  • Familiarity with lean warehouse management principles and continuous improvement strategies.
