We help these clients understand what their stakeholders’ social needs are and execute effective initiatives that address those.

About the role:

• We are looking for a Finance Director (12-17 years of experience) to join our team and lead our finance and accounting operations. You'll oversee everything from financial planning and compliance to strategic financial analysis and reporting, ensuring our business scales in a financially sound and sustainable way.
• You must have a deep knowledge of Egyptian and KSA financial regulations (VAT, tax laws, social insurance, labor law).
• The ideal candidate is someone who likes to work in a startup environment, wears multiple hats, and is excited about shaping the financial strategy of a growing company.
• This role reports directly to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Financial Planning & Reporting

• Develop financial models/forecasting, and cash flow management to support strategic decision-making and growth.
• Provide the CEO with financial insights, risk/opportunity assessments, and clear management reports and dashboards.

2. Design and implement Financial Process Optimization

• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting operations.
• Optimize ERP/accounting systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.

3. Financial Operations & Accounting

• Oversee the full accounting cycle from entry to reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger operations/bookkeeping.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.

4. Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure timely submission of all regulatory filings (VAT, tax, social insurance, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian and Saudi financial regulations and accounting standards.

Must-have requirements:

• 12-17 years of work experience
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Must have experience managing the full finance and accounting function of a company (candidates who are not proficient in all areas will not be considered.)
• Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems (e.g., Zoho, Oracle, SAP, QuickBooks, Odoo)
• Experience in managing operations across both Egypt and Saudi Arabia
• Startup/SM business experience preferred
• Fluent in both English and Arabic
• Based in Cairo, Egypt
