Job Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) strategy, ensuring alignment with applicable regulations and internationally recognized standards such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Ensure full compliance with Egyptian labor laws, environmental legislation, and relevant industry regulations, maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of all statutory requirements.
- Act as the primary liaison with governmental authorities, regulatory bodies, and certification agencies on all HSE-related matters.
- Lead and oversee comprehensive risk assessments, hazard identification processes, and safety audits across the entire site, ensuring timely corrective action where needed.
- Implement and monitor preventive and corrective measures to address incidents, accidents, and unsafe practices, ensuring continuous improvement of workplace safety.
- Lead investigations of incidents and accidents, prepare detailed reports, identify root causes, and ensure that lessons learned are effectively implemented across operations.
- Manage emergency preparedness and response systems, including fire safety, evacuation plans, and crisis management protocols.
- Monitor and evaluate contractors’ HSE performance, ensuring adherence to company standards and regulatory obligations.
- Oversee environmental management activities, including waste handling, emissions control, and sustainability initiatives, ensuring compliance with environmental laws and internal policies.
- Support the department head with administrative and operational duties, including:
A. Ensuring compliance with fleet regulations and transportation safety requirements.
B. Managing the submission, tracking, and follow-up of business-related purchases and expenses.
Job Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of office administration experience
- Well knowledge with the Egyptian labor laws, environmental regulations, industry-specific standards and international best practices (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, etc.).
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Experience in managing databases, data tracking and data analysis
- Good command of Microsoft Office & English
